Scheduling

Candidates may choose ONE examination option each year.

The Advanced Sommelier Theory examination will be offered at a Pearson VUE testing center twice in 2022. Once each on:

• April 26, 2022 at 10AM Pacific Time / 1PM Eastern Time
• May 3, 2022 at 10AM Pacific Time / 1PM Eastern Time

The Advanced Sommelier Theory examination appointments at a Pearson VUE center must be made in advance and are subject to availability

Even though the system will offer multiple time options, Advanced Examination candidates must sign up for 10 AM PT / 1pm ET. If you sign up for an alternate time, your registration will be invalid.

Candidates are responsible for determining the time translation to their own time zone. Appointment Scheduling with Pearson VUE will be open from February 1 through March 1; we encourage you to schedule your exam as soon as possible so that you can secure a seat at the nearest center to you.

The time limit for the Advanced Sommelier Theory examination is 70 minutes, as noted on Pearson VUE web page; this reflects the total appointment time, including an NDA, exam time (which is 60 minutes), and survey. Candidates should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment.
