Q. I am a freelance Quality Professional. I want to register and Take Aramco Inspector qualification Exam. Can I have direct contact with Aramco?

A. No

Q. If I cannot have direct contact with Aramco, whom should be contacted then?

A. Quality Professionals who wish to be registered and qualified as Inspectors in Aramco system should enroll their profile first with one of the Inspection agencies or Project Contractors. Inspection agencies / Project Contractors should make formal request to Aramco for Inspector qualification exams after ensuring the candidates meet the Minimum Qualification Requirements.

Q. Where can I find study materials, references, or exam content information?

A. Pearson VUE doesn't provide any information about study material or exam information. Furthermore, also Aramco do not provide any study materials. Exam questions and answers are based on Industrial Codes and standards relevant to the exams you are registered.

Q. What are the steps for Inspectors Qualification process?

A. 1. Quality Professionals should be registered with one of the Inspection agencies or employed by Project contractor. 2. Inspection agency / Project Contractor to contact Aramco for Inspectors qualification exams after verification on compliance to minimum academic qualification and experience criteria requirements set by Aramco. 3. Aramco Prescreen the received request from inspection agency or Project contractor. Upon ensuring compliance to minimum Qualification and experience requirements Aramco prepares request to Pearson VUE to register the candidates for exam. 4. Pearson VUE creates a profile of candidates and provide login details via registered email of the candidates. 5. Candidates Schedule appointment and make payment for the exam. 6. Candidate Takes Theory exam at Authorized test center. 7. Successful candidates in Theory exam will be interviewed by Authorized Aramco representative(s) (Interview venue – physical attendance, telecom, video conference,…etc. will be communicated through inspection agency or project contractor) 8. Final result Pass / Fail of each exam will be shared through your registered inspection agency or project contractor.

Q. How can I get exam result and what is the passing score?

A. Immediately after your exam, confirmation report on exam completion will be printed out and provided to you in the test centre. To be qualified, inspector is required to pass both written exam and interview. Final result Pass / Fail of each exam will be shared through your registered inspection agency /Project Contractor.

Q. What are the required documents in the test centre?

A. A primary and original ID must contain a permanently affixed photo of the candidate and should be valid (Not expired). Accepted ID forms: Passport, National ID, Military ID, Government Issued Driver’s License, or any ID issued by the government.

Q. My name in Pearson VUE website is not matching my documents, what should I do?

A. Your first and last name in the registration must exactly match the first and last name on the ID that is presented on the test day. Please contact your registered Inspection agency or Project Contractor who ultimately should contact Aramco for the correction prior to your exam date and make sure it is reflected in Pearson VUE website.

Q. My middle name is not mentioned in my profile in Pearson VUE website?

A. Only the first and the last name should be exactly matching, if the middle name is missing or not matching, the ID will be accepted in the test Centre and you will be admitted normally.

Q. My e-mail address and mobile number are incorrect in my Pearson VUE profile, how do I correct them?

A. Please contact your registered Inspection agency or Project Contractor who ultimately should contact Aramco for the correction prior to your exam date and make sure it is reflected in Pearson VUE website.

Q. Do I have to pay for exam?

A. Yes, you or your inspection agency or Project Contractor (depends on your internal agreement with your agency/ Project Contractor) shall have to pay for each individual exams (commodities /QM code).

Q. How can I pay my exam fees?

A. Payment can be done online and by calling Pearson VUE customer service helpline, we accept credit and debit cards (Visa, Master Card), if you are using a debit card, please ensure that it allows the online payments by contacting your bank. Note: If you will take the exam in Lebanon or Pakistan; booking the exam can be done only by visiting the test centre at least 7 business days prior to your exam date and paying the exam fees as cash only.

Q. How can I reschedule my exam and is there any rescheduling fee?

A. You must access your online Pearson VUE account to reschedule your exam at least a minimum of seven (7) calendar days prior to your appointment. Exams cannot be rescheduled less than seven (7) calendar days prior to your appointment. Failure to reschedule in time or failure to appear for your appointment will result in the forfeiture of your exam fee.

Q. When I try to log in, a message appears "You are currently restricted from signing in to your account. Please contact us to remove the restriction", what should I do?

A. That means that your profile was locked due to invalid payment attempts, please call Pearson VUE customer service to remove the restriction.

Q. During the booking, I see the message "The credit card payment option is not available for this order. If you need additional information, please contact your Pearson VUE."

A. This message appears when you are booking the exam in Pakistan or Lebanon, online payments cannot be done If you will take the exam in any of these countries, the booking can be done only by visiting the test centre at least 7 business days prior to your exam date and paying the exam fees in cash.

Q. What happens if I arrive late to the test centre?

A. We ask that you arrive at the test centre 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. This will give you adequate time to complete the necessary sign-in procedures. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late from your appointment start time, you may be refused admission and will lose the exam fees.

Q. Should I pay again if I am going to schedule my exam again?

A. Yes, every booking requires a new payment.

Q. If I cancel my exam, will the exam fees be refunded?

A. If the exam is cancelled seven (7) calendar days prior to the exam date, a full refund will be issued to the same credit card used for booking the exam. The refund takes 10-14 business days.

Q. I lost my completion report, what should I do?

A. Kindly contact Pearson VUE customer service helpline and we will be happy to issue a score report for you.

Q. What are the retake policy?

A. Failed candidate is allowed to retake the test as per below conditions (subject to change): 1. One (1) month after the first failed attempt (if the failure results are below 70% & above 60%). This will be considered as the First attempt. 2. Three (3) months after the first failed attempt (if the failure results are below 60%). This will be considered as the second attempt. 3. If the candidate fails the examination on the second attempt, candidate may retake the exam twelve (12) months after the second attempt. Exceptions of the above requirements will be evaluated by Aramco for certain business cases and subject to final approval of Aramco.

Q. Should I create a profile in Pearson VUE website to take the exam?

A. No, you need start the application process with your inspection agency who will ultimately contact Aramco for registration on Inspectors Qualification Exam. Once everything is completed with Aramco, you will receive at your email your login credentials that will enable you to sign in at Pearson VUE website to book your exam.
