To use the appointment scheduling web pages for the exam you are required to take with Pearson VUE, you will be prompted to create a username and password on the Pearson VUE website. You do not need to create an account if you already created one during a previous appointment. To create an account, use the "Create Account" link on the right side of this page. You only need to do this once. You can then access your Pearson VUE account via the "Sign in" button. You should only create an account if you have been approved to take this exam. If you are authorized to take this exam, you will be informed by email. Only students who meet the performance requirements indicated in the official course guide will be approved.

Once you have created an account through Pearson VUE you will be able to schedule your exam within the available days and times. This video tutorial explains how to access your Pearson VUE account and schedule your exam time. Make sure the appointment you select is in the correct time zone corresponding to where you live. You can also choose to take the exam in English or Spanish. You can take the exam at a Pearson VUE test center near you if one is available. Whenever possible, we recommend that you take your exam at a test center. We especially recommend taking the exam at a test center in the following circumstances: you do not have the appropriate equipment, you are not proficient with a computer, your level of English is limited, you require some accommodation for medical reasons. The program direction reserves the right to require you to take the exam at a test center if there are indications or a history of academic dishonesty, or if the candidate's equipment or local network shows apparent technical difficulties.

Candidates who are not in the above circumstances may also take the exam in their own home with remote proctoring service by selecting the "OnVUE" method of exam delivery when scheduling their exam. More details on how to schedule your exam time are provided below.

When booking your final exam, you will be required to pay the appropriate fee for Pearson VUE services. The approximate cost of this fee is indicated in the course guide and is generally slightly higher for OnVUE. You may pay this fee by debit or credit card. If you do not have a debit or credit card, please contact the program at master@aba-elearning.com.

Once scheduled, and only if strictly necessary, you can later change your reservation (to a different date, time or location of the test center), simply log in to your account and choose "Reschedule". You can reschedule until the close of the reservation period.

If you reserve a seat, but decide not to attend, you must cancel your reservation at least 48 hours before the test time. It will not be possible to cancel during the 48 hours prior to the exam. In the latter case, any payment you have made to reserve the exam will not be refunded by Pearson VUE.

Objects such as telephones, calculators, papers, etc. will not be allowed in the examination room.** In the test centers visits to the restroom will be possible (although you will lose examination time). In the OnVUE home examination mode, visits to the restroom will not be permitted. If you require any special accommodations (e.g., being able to attend with medication, food or water), please contact the program at master@aba-elearning.com We recommend that individuals requiring these accommodations will only be able to take the exam through a Pearson VUE test center; accommodations will not be possible in the OnVUE delivery.

The evaluation will begin with a brief tutorial to familiarize you with the controls and screen layout and will end with a short evaluation quiz. Use the link to the right to access a similar evaluation tutorial.

* If you choose to take the exam at home via the OnVue method, you are responsible for ensuring that your computer, webcam, Internet connection, speakers and microphone, etc., meet the required criteria. You should be sure to read all relevant information at www.pearsonvue.com/abaespana/onvue. Having faulty equipment will not be taken into account in the event that the remote assessment is not completed; applicants will not be able to rebook the assessment on the grounds of having faulty or non-operational equipment after the booking period closes.

** The OnVUE application as well as the test centers have integrated functionalities to use a calculator or take notes if needed.

*** Remember that the exam can be taken in Spanish or English and will consist of questions with four options in which only one option is correct.

Before starting your exam, you will be asked to present an official ID issued by an original government entity (photocopies are not accepted), valid (not expired) and including your name, photo and signature. If you do not have this document and will be taking your exam at a Pearson VUE test center you may present two documents, one that includes your photo and one that includes your signature (exception only valid at test centers). At least one of these documents must be issued by a government entity (examples of documents you can combine if you do not have one that meets all three requirements: driver's license and bank card, driver's license and social security card). The first and last name(s) you used to register for the Pearson VUE account and to fill out the ABA España exam data form must exactly match the first and last name(s) on the ID you present on test day. The regulation on identification documents is available here.

If you do not have the necessary identification documents or have any doubts about your identity documents, please contact ABA España at master@aba-elearning.com as soon as possible.
