BLOOMINGTON, MN, March 3, 2017 – Pearson VUE, the global leader in computer-based testing, has entered into an agreement with the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) to transition delivery of the Medical College Admission Test® (MCAT®) to Pearson VUE beginning in 2018.

Founded in 1876, the AAMC is a not-for-profit association dedicated to transforming health care through innovative medical education, cutting-edge patient care, and groundbreaking medical research. In addition to the existing test centers, Pearson VUE is investing in an expansion of its test center network to provide additional capacity for test takers. The Pearson Professional Centers are the gold standard in exam delivery offering test takers a professional, highly secure, and consistent testing experience.

“We are proud to enter into an agreement with the AAMC to deliver this important exam to tomorrow’s doctors. We understand the AAMC’s commitment to excellence and we’re proud to be part of their continued commitment to examinees and the testing community,” said Bob Whelan, President, Pearson Assessments. “As an extension of the AAMC to its test takers, we will deliver each exam with care, consistency, and the highest levels of customer service.”
