National Strength and Conditioning Association migrates English-language certification programs to Pearson VUE global network

BLOOMINGTON, MN, May 19, 2015 – The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) has migrated its English-language certification programs to computer-based testing (CBT) leader Pearson VUE’s global network.

The certification exams for Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist® (CSCS®), Certified Special Population Specialist® (CSPS®), Certified Personal Trainer® (NSCACPT®) and Tactical Strength and Conditioning® (TSACF®) will now be available at many of Pearson VUE’s test centers spread across 180 countries around the world. Candidates can book tests when convenient to them and sit the test at a local center.

Bob Whelan, managing director of Pearson VUE, said: “This new partnership will provide candidates with more convenience of when and where to sit their test, whilst the secure environment will protect the integrity of the test.”

Levi Boren, Senior Director of Certification and Education of NSCA, said: “We chose to work with Pearson VUE because of the depth and breadth of its test center network, its global reach, and commitment to exam security.”
